The Three-Year Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Advantages of the Three Year Program
The three year program provides candidates with a thorough academic experience of psychoanalytic thought drawing from Contemporary Freudian, Modern, Object Relations, Interpersonal Psychoanalysis and Self Psychology schools thought, combined with an introduction to personal analysis and psychoanalytically based supervision. We believe this provides a solid base from which candidates can practice high quality psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy on a schedule that can be adapted for today's working professionals. Graduates of the three year program who are interested in a more intensive and long-term analytic formation can continue into the four-year program and can apply all their coursework, analysis, and supervision credits toward the four-year requirements.
